Meadowbrook Hall Wedding

Congratulations Jennifer and Ron! They were married at Meadowbrook Hall in Rochester Hills. The ceremony was held in the rock garden. Because of the rain, we played on the top level of the gazebo. The last minute decision to move to the gazebo seemed to work out well. The sound carried quite far, and we knew we could play for the entire ceremony without any weather worries. Thank-you to Jeanne, the Meadowbrook wedding coordinator, for her cues. After the ceremony, we were asked to play contemporary selections such as ‘Bittersweet Symphony’, ‘Don’t Stop Believin’, ‘Fields of Gold’, ‘Greenday’ selections, ‘St. Elmos Fire’, ‘Flashdance’, ‘Viva la Vida’, ‘Eleanor Rigby’, ‘Here Comes the Sun’, and ‘Yellow’. The weather had cleared by this time, and we had an enjoyable time playing on the patio. http://www.oakland.edu/?id=5540&sid=87

Congratulations to Kavita and Justin! They were married at Meadowbrook Hall in Rochester Hills. The couple requested that we play all rags for the prelude, and all Beatles music for the ceremony. It worked very well. We chose rags by Scott Joplin, and were asked to play ‘Norwegian Woods’ for the seating of the mothers, ‘All You Need Is Love’ for the bridesmaids, ‘Here Comes the Sun’ for the bride, and ‘I Feel Fine’ for the recessional. We added a few extra Beatles selections while guests were leaving the ceremony area. The weather was perfect, and Kavita’s dress was gorgeous! Thank-you to Courtney, a Meadowbrook Hall coordinator, for your cues. http://www.oakland.edu/mbh/

Meadowbrook Hall Wedding

Congratulations to Crystal and Uwe! They were married at Meadowbrook Hall in Rochester Hills. The groom was German, and was fortunate to have guests from Germany come to the ceremony. The Pastor did a nice job of switching from English to German during the service. Crystal and Uwe chose a brilliant cobalt blue for the bridesmaids. They used sunflowers as the bouquets and in arrangements along the aisle. The setting, colors, and beautiful weather made everything perfect! Thank-you to Amelia, a Meadowbrook Hall coordinator, for your help with cues. http://www.oakland.edu/mbh/
