It was a gorgeous day at the Henry Ford for the wedding of Elizabeth and Matthew! The ceremony was held in the Pennsylvania Courtyard with the elegant floral arrangements of Christopher and Company. The couple chose romantic music including It Had to Be You, Moon River, Here Comes the Sun and All You Need Is Love. Carol, wedding coordinator for the Henry Ford, is always a delight to work with and her depth of experience insures that the day will run without a hitch. Following the ceremony, we moved inside to the Clock Tower Hallway and played the cocktail hour. Several of the guests were from New York, and so our rendition of Sinatra’s New York, New York was a big hit as was Smooth by Santana, Fields of Gold by Sting, the music of Coldplay and Journey. Pat, coordinator for the cocktail hour, was also very helpful in finding us the perfect location that kept us out of the way of the 200 guests but still in the heart of the party. The guests were already dancing in the hall so we knew a great party was yet to come for Matthew and Elizabeth. We send our best wishes and congratulations on a beautiful wedding!
