Love, Humor and Abba Songs Highlight Lovett Hall Wedding!

Fun was in the air for Beth and Cameron’s wedding in the Ginger Meyer Garden at Lovett Hall, part of the Henry Ford in Dearborn.  The couple’s wedding program set the tone with the heading “Beth and Cameron are getting married today! (Woo –Hoo!)”  Their “let’s have a great time” attitude extended to their music selection with Can’t Help Falling in Love, In My Life, California Dreamin’, and more. The couple currently resides in New York City so of course, we had to play New York, New York and received applause from the guests before the ceremony began. We could tell this was a fun lovin’ group. Beth’s brother Jeremy flew in from the west coast to officiate the ceremony and did a superb job. Beth processed down to “Here Comes the Sun” and the newly married couple recessed to Don’t Stop Believin’.  Beth is a passionate Abba fan so in addition to playing “Dancing Queen”, we heard many references to Abba songs in Cameron’s vows.  Following the ceremony, Cameron and Beth took at Model T Ford ride while their guests enjoyed cocktails in Lovett Hall.  We continued playing fun, upbeat music like All You Need Is Love, When I’m 64, What a Feeling from Flashdance and Smooth.  As the couple’s program stated, “Then it’s sealed with a kiss.  NOW LET’S PARTY!”  It was obvious that a great evening was had by all and that this couple approaches life with optimism and humor.  It was a delight to work with them and we send Cameron and Beth our best wishes in the years ahead.
