Commencement for Michigan School of Professional Psychology

Congratulations to the graduates of the Michigan School of Professional Psychology on their commencement July 30th. This mission of this school, located in Farmington Hills, is to educate and train individuals to become reflective practitioner-scholars with the competencies necessary to serve diverse populations as professional psychologists and psychotherapists.
Family and friends celebrated the accomplishments of their loved ones at this distinguished event which included guest of honor, Senator Gilda Jacobs. Thirty graduates received a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology and while a select five received their Doctor of Psychology. We were honored to play Elgar’s Pomp and Circumstance as the graduates received their diplomas along with other selections throughout the evening. An Honorary Doctorate was awarded to Senator Jacobs in recognition of outstanding commitment to her constituency and significant advocacy on behalf of MiSPP.
It was an elegant evening and we extend our thanks to Diane who assisted us and planned the event. Our best wishes go out to the graduates of MiSPP as they embark on their future endeavors.
