The Rondo String Quartet was amazing! They played beautifully for our ceremony. Their repertoire is extensive and we were able to select some unique songs for our ceremony such as Unchained Melody by the Righteous Brothers and Sunshine of Your Love by Cream. I received numerous compliments on the string quartet including one from my grandmother who is a long-time violinist and retired music teacher. The Rondo String Quartet was easy to work with. Most of our contact was through email and mail and they even recorded a few special songs I was interested in using for our ceremony and sent me the files so that I could hear them before making my selections. The ladies were professional and courteous. I highly recommend!

Rondo String Quartet performed at my reception in July, 2011, and I couldn’t have been more pleased. The group has an incredibly beautiful sound that provided just the right background for conversation during the cocktail hour and dinner. The selection of pieces was superb, and very sensitive to the tastes of the hosts. The group is also a model of professionalism. I would recommend them without hesitation and was so happy that they performed.

The Rondo String Quartet was so wonderful to work with, and created a beautiful ambiance for our wedding! Their song list is so extensive, they were even willing to learn a new song for us, that we specifically wanted played during our wedding ceremony. They were very promt to respond to e-mails and phone calls, and extremely professional. I absolutely recommend them, and would use them again!!

Rondo String Quartet has an amazing repertoire of music selections, from traditional to classical to contemporary. They will even learn a piece of music that is not part of their repertoire for your wedding. They are very professional and prompt with their correspondences. I have had so many family and friends come up to me and say how beautifully the strings complimented our wedding.

My daughter was married June 25th 2011 at First English Lutheran Church in Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan. Rondo String Quartet provided the music for the wedding ceremony. I cannot say enough good things about their kindness, their cooperation, their service, their punctuality, their professionalism, and above all, their beautiful, beautiful, music. Their music provided the perfect atmosphere of warmth, formality, and spirituality for my daughter’s wedding ceremony. What an amazing, professional, and marvelous string quartet!! We had the Rondo Quartet for our daughter’s January wedding and the 1st hour of our Meadow Brook Hall reception. They arrived early, played stunningly and beautifully, and clearly provided the quintessentially perfect music for the wedding and the reception. My wife and I hired Lisa and the Rondo String Quartet for the cocktail hour at our wedding in June 2009. Although we were not there for the cocktail hour our guests raved about how the atmosphere was made complete with the addition of the beautiful music from Rondo. In my dealings with Rondo (through Lisa) prior to our wedding day I was extremely impressed with the quick and friendly responses to my seemingly endless e-mails. It was a pleasure having Rondo as part of our special day.
We enjoyed everything about Rondo so much that when my sister got married this past October we decided to hire Rondo as a wedding gift for the happy couple. Instead of playing the cocktail hour my sister decided that she wanted Rondo to play at the wedding ceremony. I’m not sure if Rondo was expecting this or not, but the church’s organist had also been hired to play a couple songs as well. With minimal preperation time just prior to the ceremony Rondo was able to accompany the organist’s prepared music as if they had been practicing together for months. Needless to say, it was an absolute pleasure being able to finally hear Rondo in person since we were unable to do so during our wedding’s cocktail hour. Again, I was very impressed and would not hesitate to recommend Rondo to anyone. We will certainly be utilizing their skills again at future events.

We met Rondo String Quartet at a friend’s wedding a few months ago. The group is amazing! Allison was my primary contact and she was very professional and responsive. As the bride, time was very limited. Allison and I communicated primarily through email, which was very convenient. I always knew that I would get a very timely and informative response any time I had a question or needed further details. Allison worked extremely well with my planning and decor firm, Emerald City Designs, which made my life a lot easier during the planning process. I found the Rondo String Quartet online and read good reviews on a few websites, prompting me to reach out to them. Lisa replied to my inquiry promptly and sent their extensive play list as well as a reference. The reference I spoke with was very pleased with the quartet so I decided to book with them. I picked out the songs I wanted, and even requested a Jewish song that wasn’t on their play list, and they were happy to accommodate my request. Also, as the day got closer and more details were firmed up, we asked Rondo to change their arrival time and they easily fulfilled the request. On the day of the wedding, they arrived on-time and ready to play. They played beautifully and we received many compliments. Overall, I was delighted with the Rondo String Quartet’s professionalism and level of expertise and would highly recommend them.

Lisa and her group were very helpful to us in planning the ceremony music. She offered suggestions about what music selections complimented each other, how the ceremony usually runs, what questions we should be asking about the process. The sound clips are good representations of their performance. She answered both phone calls and emails promptly, professionally, and warmly.
